Ontario-based horseman Brad Forward, who received a five-year license suspension in September 2010 on alleged race fixing charges that also led to 10-year suspensions for horsemen Kevin Wallis and Gene Piroski, has been given permission by the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) to re-apply for a license as a result of the initial ruling being put aside.
Late last year, the charges against Wallis and Piroski were dropped due to lack of evidence and both were allowed to resume racing. Forward's latest ORC hearing was held Monday, Jan. 9, where he received notice of his eligiblity for re-licensing.
