Otherpeoplesmoney wore down Sweetheart Pace winner Lonesome Day in the final strides to win Friday night's $74,000 Lexington Breeders Classic final for 2-year-old filly pacers at The Red Mile.

With Dan Shetler driving, Otherpeoplesmoney took the lead down the backstretch, yielded to the Jim Meittinis-driven Lonesome Day, then came back in deep stretch to pass the odds-on choice to win in 1:54. Clova finished a distant third for driver Jason Dillander.

A 2-year-old daughter by first-year sire Pro Bono Best, Otherpeoplesmoney is owned by University of Kentucky college friends Gabe Prewitt and Tyler Smith, along with Smith's father, Lynn.

Peter Foley trains the winner, who notched her fifth win in seven career starts. She lowered her mark by more than two seconds with her effort that increased her bankroll to $46,826.
