Two $25,000 eliminations for the Progress Pace for 3-year-old pacing colts were held at Dover Downs Sunday (Nov. 2), and the division proved to be wide open, especially after No Pan Intended's defeat in the Windy City two days before.

Canyon Wind won the first Progress elim with a 1:51.4 effort for driver Brian Sears. The colt sired by Cambest rolled from off the pace to win. He's trained by Steve Elliott for Schoor Racing Stable and Val D'or Farms.

Mystery Man, an Artsplace colt trained by Bill Robinson, finished second while Whatanartist was third. Allamerican Native, the division's top-ranked colt going into the season, continued to struggle. He raced eighth for most of the mile and finished fifth for driver John Campbell.

The second split went to Radar Sign in 1:52. He defeated Adios champ Armbro Animate with Iced Yankee taking third.
