Driver Chris Page showed why he was the leading driver at Scioto Downs last year as he took four trips to the winner’s circle on Thursday night.

The native of Mt. Vernon, Ohio won with Forever A Cowgirl for trainer Steve Carter and owner Dorothy Miller by swinging her three wide on the final turn to overtake the leaders in the stretch. At the wire, she had a 1-1/2 length lead on her rivals in the 1:57 mile.

Page also scored with Pte’s Desire, a sophomore son of Real Desire, for trainer Carter and owner Chuck Grubbs.  He took the lead in the opening half and won comfortably in 1:58.

Page’s other wins came behind the pacing females Bunnysexpresslane in 1:58.2 and Must Be The Best in 1:59.1.

The father-and-son team of Chip Noble and Dan Noble both scored driving doubles on Thursday night. The younger Noble is leading all Scioto drivers in wins thus far in the 2010 season.
