Jim Pantaleano collected six wins for as many trainers Monday (Aug. 27) at The Meadows. He scored for conditioners Scott Betts, Paul Kennedy, Christen Pantaleano, Richard Perfido, Justin Pirillo and Todd Rooney.

Also enjoying a big day was Dan Rawlings, who piloted three winners on the 13-race card.

In Monday’s $18,000 Preferred Handicap Trot, Call For Justice was refreshed by a :29.1 second-quarter breather and rolled to his third straight victory -- and fifth in the last seven.

Call For Justice reached the point from post six in :28.1, well within his comfort zone. But when Dave Palone slowed things down the second panel, the 6-year-old son of Justice Hall-Mika’s Mazurka was well nigh uncatchable. He downed the pocket-sitting PL Jericho by 2-1/2 lengths in 1:53.3, with Classic Banker a ground-saving third.

Ron Burke trains Call For Justice, who now boasts $535,067 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver  (The Meadows)
