The last Pennsylvania Sire Stakes leg for 3-year-old trotting colts was held at The Meadows Thursday night and the winners were Budlightning, Dream Photo Kosmos and Solomon Blue Chip. The first two were driven by Dave Palone with the other handled by Brian Sears.

Budlightning enjoyed a two-hole trip and overtook the pacesetting Durgin Hanover just before the wire. The time of the mile over the sloppy track was 1:56.3. Dream Photo Kosmos hit the finish line in 1:56.1, with ENS Crescendo unable to mount a rally despite a two-hole trip. Heavily-favored Solomon Blue Chip was able to rally late after receiving a pocket trip, crossing the wire in 1:57.1.
