More than $250,000 was offered in seven Pennsylvania Sire Stakes divisions for 2-year-old filly pacers and 2-year-old colt and gelding trotters Thursday night at The Meadows.

Carousel Flame won the first of four splits for the freshman fillies with a 1:55.1 effort for owner, trainer and driver Ben Stafford Jr. The second went to She's Game, who led wire to wire for driver Yannick Gingras to score in 1:54.2.

It was another wire-to-wire score in the third division as Queen Teen led at every call to win in 1:57. Mike Wilder drove for trainer Dan Altmeyer. Wilder also directed Hug Me to a stakes-record equaling 1:53.3 victory in the final division for trainer Ross Croghan.

The first division for the freshman male trotters went to Mr. Pine Chip and driver Dave Palone in a stakes-record equaling 1:58.2. The second division went to R U Tuff Enuff, who proved he was tough enough by holding on by a head over a late-charging San Remo Kosmos in 1:59.1. Brian Zendt drove that winner for trainer Walter "Boots" Dunn. The final split went to Kerogen and driver Kim Ireland in 1:58.3.
