Sweetheart Pace winner Pedigree Snob had no problems from her inside post position as she easily won the first of two $34,173 Standardbred divisions for 2-year-old filly pacers Thursday afternoon at the Delaware, Ohio fairgrounds in 1:54.4, with Indulge Me romping to a 1:53.2 decision in the second split.

Pedigree Snob, driven by Sam \"Chip\" Noble, had the lead in the first turn but briefly relinquished the top to the Mike Wilder-driven Singnoevil Hanover. Noble then tipped from the two hole, followed closely by Palazzo Princess and driver Mike Micaleff, but that one went offstride.

Easily taking the lead, Pedigree Snob reached the half in :55.4 and then closed out her mile with a back half of :59 flat. Sand E Fiftyfive and Greg Grismore rallied late down the stretch to edge Singnoevil Hanover for show honors.

Jim Arledge Jr. trains Pedigree Snob, a daughter of Allamerican Native. The win was her fifth of the year in eight starts, increasing her earnings to more than $347,000 for owners David Scharf and Steve Jones.

John Campbell was behind Indulge Me, who paced home powerfully under minimal urging to win by open lengths over Dagnabit Hanover (Dave Palone) and Wild Heart (Grismore), who finished in a dead heat for second.

A daughter of Bettor\'s Delight, Indulge Me is trained by Ed Lohmeyer and owned by Robert and Lauren Tucker. The win was her fourth in 11 starts, lowering her career mark by more than two seconds. The time was a national season\'s best for a first-year filly pacer and missed the world record set by Isabella Blue Chip by just one-fifth of a second.
