Play golf with Palone

The Meadows and the Scottish Rite Masons of Pittsburgh, Pa., are working together to give someone a chance to play 18 holes of golf with Harness Tracks of America (HTA) Driver of the Year Dave Palone.

The money that is raised will go to the 32 degree Masonic Learning Center for Children to help dyslexic children overcome learning disabilities.

Starting on Thursday, Aug. 26, and ending on Saturday, Aug. 28, fans can call in and place a bid. The top bidder and two of his or her friends will play 18 holes of golf with Palone. The package includes carts, caddies and lunch. The foursome will play at Totteridge Golf Club in Hannastown, Pa. The entire package is worth approximately $600.

The top bidder and Palone will work together to find a convenient time for both parties to play.

Bidding will be held only during live racing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Post time for Thursday and Saturday is 6:40 pm (EDT) and 4:00 pm (EDT) on Friday. To place a bid call 724-225-9300 x2290.
