Coming off a night where Fox Valley Gemini won his 16th consecutive race to open his career in the Robert F. Carey, Jr. Memorial at Hawthorne, state-bred 3-year-old fillies were the focus on Saturday in two divisions of the Plum Peachy.

Race seven was the first division of the Plum Peachy as Allbeastnobeauty was sent away as the favorite with Tim Curtin driving. Hustling away for the lead was Skeeter Machine from the outside as Kyle Wilfong guided the horse through the opening quarter in :29.1. Chased by Party Belle through the half in :59, Skeeter Machine remained in control into the far turn.

After three quarters in 1:28, Skeeter Machine opened up a two-length lead into the lane as favored Allbeastnobeauty tipped out to attempt to go after the leader. Midstretch, Allbeastnobeauty flattened out as Party Belle pulled out and was able to roll by late. Party Belle was victorious by a length in 1:55 over Skeeter Machine.  JB’s Shooting Star rallied to finish third.  Party Belle is owned by trainer Tyler George along with Ladavie Spann.

Race eight was the second division of the Plum Peachy with a field of seven led by Rollin Coal with Casey Leonard driving. Rushing away for the lead was The Sis Master as Michele Morgan guided her through the opening quarter in :28.2 and the half in :57.2. Chased by Rollin Coal into the turn, The Sis Master maintained her lead, passing three-quarters in 1:25.2. Into the lane, The Sis Master faced a pair of challenges from Rollin Coal and The New Americana. Digging in gamely, The Sis Master held on at the wire, winning by a half-length over Rollin Coal in 1:53.4. The New Americana finished third.

The Sis Master is owned by Bet-Mor Stable and trained by driver Michele Morgan. (Hawthorne)
