South Florida’s newest gaming destination, the Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park, opens the second level of its new 157,000 square foot casino and new poker room Friday afternoon.

The Isle is now a complete gaming and dining destination,” corporate vice president of racino operations and general manager Doug Shipley said. “Guests can play the slots, dine at one of our four world-class restaurants, play poker in the state’s finest poker room, or watch and wager on Florida’s only live harness racing from a state-of-the-art facility.”

The second level of the Isle also includes new racing amenities including Trackside Bar, a high-tech sports bar and wagering area overlooking the track; and two restaurants, Bragozzo Osteria Wine Bar, a gourmet Italian eatery created by accomplished chef Luke Palladino, and Farraddays’® steakhouse.

There is also an outdoor viewing area with stadium seating that can accommodate over 650 guests for live harness racing.
The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park opened on April 14 with 1,500 slot machines; the multi-story feature bar, “Fling”; and two restaurants, Myron’s Delicatessen and the isle buffet.

Live harness racing and poker is held every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday with poker starting at noon and first post for live racing at 7:25 p.m.
