Elbridge T. \"Ebby\" Gerry Jr., a director of the Hambletonian Society and president of the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, has been voted the Proximity Award by the membership of the U.S. Harness Writers Association.
Gerry is already a member of the Living Hall of Fame, having been voted into that pantheon in 1994.
