Quick Credit wins in NYSS

Quick Credit won the fastest of six New York Sire Stakes splits for 3-year-old trotting fillies at Monticello Raceway Thursday afternoon with a 1:59.3 clocking.

A filly by Credit Winner, Quick Credit and driver Brian Mattison were hung out by Stardust (Gaetan Brunet) until deep in the stretch. Stardust finished second.

Last year as a freshman, Quick Credit won eight races and $322,164, including a division of the Bluegrass, division of the International Stallion Stakes. She finished second in the Goldsmith Maid to Passionate Glide and fifth in the Breeders Crown.

This season Quick Credit has one win and one third from two starts for owners LLC Kelley Racing Stable and Valley High Stable. She is trained by Paul Kelley.

Other split winners include Claudia (Conway Hall) in 2:02.4, Boriqua (Conway Hall) in 2:01.1, Mon Amie (Sir Taurus) in 2:03.1, Carmen Hall (Conway Hall) in 2:02.3 and Incredible Fortuna (Credit Winner) in 2:00.3.
