Quite Easy made it look quite easy in the $334,600 ( C ) Goodtimes final Saturday night at Mohawk, brushing to the lead before the half and going on to a 1:56 victory over Monkey Bones and Xactly Hanover.

Monkey Bones and David Miller flashed into the lead from post 10 and took the field to the opening quarter in :28. Xactly Hanover and Andy Miller took over briefly before John Campbell hustled Quite Easy into the lead before the :57.2 half.

Quite Easy went past the three-quarter pole in 1:27.2 and opened a 3-length lead on the field in the stretch before Monkey Bones and Xactly Hanover closed on the leader, but too late. Monkey Bones was one-half length back at the wire and Xactly Hanover stuck his head between the top two to be a neck back in third.

Quite Easy, as son of Andover Hall bred by Robert Waxman, owned by the Quite Easy Partners and trained by Jimmy Takter is two-for two this year and nine for 16 life.

“When I got to the three quarters he swelled up and was very full of himself at that point and was able to trot away,” Campbell said after the race.
