Rainbow Blue continued her dominance over the 3-year-old pacing filly division with an effortless 1:51.2 victory in the second $120,000 Glen Garnsey Memorial division at The Red Mile Friday afternoon.

Off since equaling her own world record of 1:49.2 at The Red Mile Sept. 12, trainer and co-owner George Teague Jr. supplemented the daughter of Artiscape to the Garnsey for $12,000. Teague and his partners, sister Brenda and Kevin and Ron Fry's K & R Racing, were rewarded with the filly's 16th win in 17 starts this year.

Ron Pierce directed Rainbow Blue to the front out of the gate and she was never headed as she coasted around the one-mile clay oval. She set fractions of :27, :55.4 and 1:23.4 before coming home in :27.3 to seal the victory. Pantidepressant finished 2 3/4 lengths back in second with Female Champs third.

Up next for Rainbow Blue is the Breeders Crown eliminations at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto next Saturday night. Teague said he needed a start for his filly after being off a couple of weeks and he found one in the Garnsey.
