Razzle Dazzle and driver Brian Sears led gate-to-wire to capture the $450,000 George Morton Levy Series Final Saturday, April 27 at Yonkers. Drawing the rail for the final, the Real Desire six year old set every fraction and held off a hard charging Foiled Again to claim his fourth seasonal win in 1:51.3. Versado and Andy Miller finished third.

When the gate folded, Foiled Again and Yannick Gingras left quickly from post seven to settle in third behind Razzle Dazzle and Versado. On the lead, Razzle Dazzle and Sears clicked off a quarter in :27 and passed by the grandstand the first time in :56. By that time Foiled Again was out and rolling from third, advancing to the leader’s wheel by three quarters (1:23.3). In the stretch the veteran Foiled Again battled gamely but could not track down the leader, managing second. Versado, racing along the pylons, finished ahead of a fast-closing Annieswesterncard.

Owned by Ira Kristel, Razzle Dazzle added another $225,000 to his card, improving his career earnings to more than $900,000. Mark Silva trains the six year old, bred by Adam Victor & Son Stable, Gate To Wire Ltd., and D’Elegance Stable IX.

Shoobee’s Place and George Brennan took control racing to the half and opened up to win the $100,000 Levy Series Consolation by five and one-quarter lengths. Trained by Nifty Norman for breeder David McDuffee, the six-year-old son of Artsplace tripped the timer in 1:52.1. Classic Rock Nroll finished second while Lettucerocku A was third.
