Breeders Crown champion filly Restive Hanover made her first appearance as a 3 year old in a qualifier Wednesday at Balmoral Park with the defending divisional champion finishing fourth. Restive Hanover was timed in 1:56 in the mile that went in 1:54.4.

Last year Restive Hanover won nine of 14 starts and $590,807, taking her mark of 1:52 in an International Stallion Stakes division at The Red Mile during the fall Grand Circuit meet. She suffered an injury over the winter and had not returned to the track until qualifying.

The daughter of The Panderosa also went through the sales ring in July at the Meadowlands to dissolve a partnership, but Brent Tartar, who co-owned the filly under the name of his Starmaker Farm, had the winning bid at $230,000. Erv Miller continues to train Restive Hanover.
