Three final slots are on the line again this week as round two of the TrackMaster Harness Handicapping Challenge opens on Thursday at 3 pm Eastern. The final boasts cash prizes totaling $3,500.
Qualifying round #1 of the eight-week long TrackMaster Harness Handicapping Challenge was held this past Saturday and there were already some great handicapping skills on display. Top honors for the week went to "pabob57" who selected a remarkable 6 winners out of his 10 choices and scored a final bankroll of $1,715.00 (from a start of $500). His biggest score came in the 4th race at the Meadowlands on Saturday night when MORALITY came home a winner and paid $31.60 at the windows.

Three final slots are up for grabs every Saturday through July 28, wrapping up with the final round on Hambletonian Day on August 4. Don't miss out on your chance to be part of the action and show off your skills! TrackMaster will be providing free handicapping products, a different one each week, to support the contest.

Co-sponsored by TrackMaster, TVG and the USTA, the format of the challenge is pretty simple. There will be eight weeks of qualifying rounds with each Saturday a brand new chance to play and earn a spot in the finals. You'll have a contest bankroll of $500 to make exactly 10 wagers of $50 each on horses to win. You'll have the ability to pick and choose from any harness tracks, races and horses you like (US and Canada only).

The finals will be comprised of 30 players, the top three bankrolls from each of the weekly rounds plus six wildcards rewarding frequent and successful players. The wildcards are the three players who pick the most winners (minimum odds 1-1), and the highest ROIs (minimum 50 plays). Remember, there is no requirement to play every round and each week you get a fresh bankroll to wager. (Trackmaster)
