Sears a $10 million man

Brian Sears, 36, attained his first $10 million season as a driver when he scored with Canyon Wind in the fifth race at the Meadowlands Saturday night. Sears finished up the night with $10,028,306 in money-winnings for the season, his best ever. Only eight drivers have achieved $10 million seasons, with John Campbell leading the way with nine such years. Also in the elite category are Bill O'Donnell, David Miller, Mike Lachance, Ron Pierce, Randy Waples and Luc Ouellette.
