Season\'s mark tied in Reynolds

Omen Hanover and driver Daniel Dube turned in the fastest of five W.N. Reynolds Memorial Stakes splits for 2-year-old pacing fillies with a 1:55.3 mile at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Wednesday afternoon, tying the season’s mark.

A daughter of Western Hanover out of the millionaire Ooh’s ‘N Aah’s, Omen Hanover rode the pocket before getting up by a nose over Isabella Blue Chip (Dave Palone) over a track rated “sloppy.”

A $50,000 yearling, Omen Hanover is owned by North Woodland Stables and trained by Doug Miller.

Other split winners include Fiore Hanover (1:56), Jerry’s Girl (1:56.2), Prime Suspect (1:57.2) and Fiery Buckeye (2:00.1).

Four Reynolds divisions for 2-year-old colt trotters also went to post, highlighted by Warrawee Imprint’s 1:59.2 win.

Driven by Dave Palone for trainer George Teague Jr., the colt by SJ’s Photo led from go to whoa, winning by 3 1/2 lengths. The $17,000 yearling is co-owned by Teague and Rodney Mitchell of Delaware.

Other colt trot winners were Que Pasa (2:00.1), Key Brady (2:02.1) and Gel Mibson (2:02.3).
