Second Mills leg swept

Gettindownanddirty (1:56.4) and Southwind Rome (1:57.2) each won their respective divisions of the $17,500 Don Mills Trotting Series at Woodbine Monday night, both for the tandem of trainer Paula Wellwood and driver Paul MacDonell.



Gettindownanddirty, a 4-year-old gelded son of Self Possessed, was parked to the half in :58 but won by two lengths over the fast-closing The Great Pacific and Sensual Hall for owners Wellwood Stables Inc. and Paul MacDonell Stb.



Southwind Rome (Muscles Yankee) led the 4-year-old trotters to a wire-to-wire triumph by one-quarter length over both American Master and Urban Rainforest. Southwind Rome is unbeaten in four 2006 starts for owner Wellwood Stables Inc.



The $62,400 Don Mills Trotting Series final is slated for Monday, Feb. 13 at Woodbine.
