The second New Jersey "gaming summit" about the state's horse racing, casino and entertainment industries has been set for Friday, Sept. 10, at the Meadowlands Racetrack's Pegasus restaurant.
The Bergen Record reported on Aug. 28 that the date of the meeting had been confirmed by state Sen. Paul Sarlo (D-Wood-Ridge).
The first summit took place in Atlantic City on the day before the Hambletonian and the Standardbred Breeders And Owners Association of New Jersey organized transportation to take harness racing supporters to the event.
