O'Cala Kash and her younger sister Calico Comer, were both winners at Northfield Park Monday night. O'Cala Kash, with trainer Scott Cox in the bike, wore down the older pacesetter Glory Bound in the stretch to win the Open Trot.

The win was the fifth in 12 starts this year for O'Cala Kash as she pushed her seasonal bankroll to $162,510. The 4-year-old Overcomer mare is owned by the partnership of Slaughter Racing, Wayne Zollars and Larry Spearman.

Calico Comer, last year's Ohio Sire Stakes 2-year-old filly trotting champ, scored in 2:00.2. David Myers drove the filly for trainer Bill Emerson and owner Fred Long. She has now earned $118,004.
