Sophs star in Burlingtons

Three-year-old pacing colts were in action Saturday night at Woodbine with three $100,000(C) Burlington divisions going postward. Runover Feeling, P Forty Seven and Leading X Ample came up winners.

Runover Feeling rushed past Roddys Bags Again in the final strides to win the opening split in 1:50.2. Wayne LA finished third. Driven by Ron Pierce, Runover Feeling posted a career mark for trainer Kelly O'Donnell and owners Ed Mullinax and Jack Tramonte.

The Pierce/O'Donnell team came right back in the second division to score with P Forty Seven in 1:50. Wireless Hanover was second with I Zee third.

The time was a career mark for P Forty Seven, who is owned by O'Donnell and Mark Maynard.

Leading X Ample, fresh off his win last weekend in Windsor Raceway's Provincial Cup, tripped the teletimer in 1:51.2 for driver Randy Waples. Trained by William Elliott for owner R. Peter Heffering's Leading X Ample Stable, the win was his fourth in five starts this yea. Divot Hanover was second with He's A Nice Guy third.
