I Like Stephanie went wire to wire, drawing off by 4 1/4 lengths and captured her second Ohio Sire Stakes 3-year-old filly trot in 1:58.3 for Brett Miller Sunday at Scioto Downs. The race was one of four $20,000 division of the Sire Stakes on the afternoon card.

A daughter of Ilooklikemymom, I Like Stephanie won six of 11 starts as a freshman, including divisions of the Ohio State Fair Stakes and the Ohio Breeders Championships. She’s made only two starts this season for trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. and owners Barbara and William Paull, both Sires Stakes victories.

Other division winners were Tich (Master Lavec) by seven lengths in 1:58.3 for Randy Tharpes; Spur-Ann-E (Steeler Spur) won her fifth in a row and second Sire Stakes by 7 1/2 lengths in 1:59.1 for Brett Miller; and Cacumamie (Master Lavec) scored in 1:59 for Greg Grismore.
