The Jordan Stratton \"Longshot Legion\" was in attendance Wednesday night at Yonkers, as the 20-year-old driver brought home four winners in nine drives on the 10-race card.
Stratton wasted no time making friends, sweeping the $106.50 early daily double with Vixen Hanover ($3.30) in the $5,000 distaff pacing opener and 20-1 Hettiie\'s Hope ($42.20) from the eight hole in the $7,000 second-race trot.
Stratton adroitly completed the Pat Riley-sanctioned three-peat with the mare Cammye Beth ($7.50) in the $4,000, third-race pace. He won his fourth race of the evening with another mare, 22-1 proposition Storm Harris ($47) in the $6,000, sixth-race pace.
Stratton, who drove his first winner in 2006, has enjoyed a breakout \'07. With doubleheader duty at Monticello by day and Yonkers at night, he has 192 victories and $1.2 million in purses. (Yonkers)
