Tall Dark Stranger p,3 1:47.1 ($1,741,645) may not be in Delaware, Ohio, for tomorrow's Little Brown Jug, but the 3-year-old pacing colt is in the news. Hanover Shoe Farms has confirmed that the winner of the Meadowlands Pace and North America Cup will be standing at the sport's leading breeding farm.
Nancy Takter trains Tall Dark Stranger for owners Marvin Katz, Howard Taylor, Crawford Farms and Caviart Farms.
Hanover Shoe Farms president and CEO Russell Williams said more details about Tall Dark Stranger's future at Hanover will be announced soon.
Tall Dark Stranger will be the second son of Bettor's Delight standing at Hanover. The farm also stands Betting Line, whose first crop is racing this year.
