Shattered Halo took advantage of a pocket trip with Eric Goodell in the bike and won the $20,000 Open Pace in 1:50.2 Saturday afternoon at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The victory was his third in a row and fourth of the year in 10 starts.

Keystone Rodeo, driven by Tim Tetrick, left quickly from the seven hole and set the pace, taking the field to the opening quarter in :26.2, half in :55.1 and three quarters in 1:23. Shattered Halo sat second until stretch time and went right on by Keystone Rodeo, who finished third. Second in the race was Francam, who came up the passing lane with Ted Wing in the bike.
