Three Little Words, a 2-year-old filly by Conway Hall, won the $90,000 Lexington Breeders Classic Final Monday night (Sept. 8) at The Red Mile.

With Chip Noble driving for trainer Charles Beaver, the filly took control of the race at about the quarter-mile mark and was never seriously threatened. She won by two lengths in 1:58. Whispering Spring, another Conway Hall filly, took second while To The Wire was third. Suwanee Springs crossed the wire fourth but was disqualified and placed eighth for an extended break.

Incidentally, both Three Little Words and Whispering Spring are out of mares bred by Hans Enggren's Meadowbranch Farm. Three Little Words is out of the Prakas mare Meadowbranch Helga while Whispering Spring is out of the Dancer's Victory mare Meadowbranch Olga.

Johanna Beaver and Bill White's White Creek Stable share ownership of Three Little Words, who has now won two of three starts. In her very first pari-mutuel start she finished second--beaten just a head--in a Kentucky Standardbred Sales stakes at Indiana Downs.
