Timesareachanging edged The Quiet Mon in a qualifier at Balmoral Park Wednesday morning, scoring in 1:57.2. With the temperature hovering near the freezing mark, Timesareachanging cut fractions of :28.4, :58.3 and 1:30 before finishing his mile with a :27.1 final panel for driver Brent Holland. The Quiet Mon, a 3-year-old, sat on his back through the mile and paced home in :26.4.

Erv Miller trains Timesareachanging, who won the 2005 Little Brown Jug.

In other qualifying action, Miller sent out the unraced 3-year-old trotting colt Andover Andover and the rookie won by two lengths in 2:03.2, with a last quarter in :29.3. Holland was also aboard this winner. Miller trains Andover Andover for Vandalay Racing. The colt out of the Malabar Man mare WAC brought $170,000 as a yearling.
