Harness horse owner Ken Wood, whose story was told in The Horseman And Fair World magazine two years ago by Delaware journalist Heather Moffett, was featured on NBC's Today show on Tuesday morning. The Today show segment was titled "Your Life Calling Today," and Jane Pauley interviewed Wood about his work drilling wells in the African nation of Ghana so that people can have clean water.
Any money Wood's horses earn goes to his African well drilling projects, and Pauley went to his farm to see his horses and also to watch one of them race at Harrah's Chester. She called Wood's story one of her favorites.
