Trainer Bill Gallagher reported March 27 that his star trotter Hellava Hush had been invited to compete in Europe, but will probably remain home to tackle a North American stakes schedule this year.

"Joe (owner Joe Chnapko) had surgery on his leg, and if he can't travel, I think the horse will stay home," said Gallagher. "The way I look at it, the horse would have to be gone within the week to have time to acclimate and make all the races."

Hellava Hush, who sports a record of 1:51 and earnings of more than $1 million, won the Mack Lobell Trotting Series at Pompano Park last month.
