Trot finals at Indiana

Helen's Priority and Mycenae Bluegrass captured Indiana Sire Stakes finals at Indiana Downs Thursday (Aug. 26) night. Helen's Priority won the $84,600 three-year-old filly trot in 1:57.4 and Mycenae Bluegrass took the $15,800 two-year-old filly trot in 2:02.1.



Owner and trainer Don Eash was in the bike at Helen's Priority scored a two-length victory over Super Kay and Joe Putnam. The victory for the Keep It A Secret filly was her third in a row and fourth of the season.



Mycenae Bluegrass was a neck winner in her final for Ricky Macomber Jr. over Cheyene Cominghome and Walter Haynes Jr. The winning Dakota Spur filly is trained by John Merkel for owner Dr. Luel Overstreet . This was her second triumph of the year.
