It wasn\'t in the program\'s top trotting event on Monday in London, but the 1:57.2 effort by Homestead Dreamer in the 3rd race $12,800 Preferred-2 gave him a share of the track\'s trotting record along with Will Sikes and Windsong Braveheart.

Homestead Dreamer was given a perfect pocket trip until mid-stretch by Dave Wall behind race leader Southwind Califon. The 7-year-old Lucky Twenty Five-Fill The Dream gelding, now a 52-time career winner, is trained by Per Henriksen for owner Dale Hein of Elkader, Iowa. With this win, his life\'s earnings are just over $312,000.

Western Fair has five programs remaining in the current meet concluding on June 30, with the City of London Series dominating this Wednesday evening\'s card and the return of the OSS Gold Series with eliminations for 3-year-old filly trotters on Friday night.
