Vivid Photo Hambo-bound

Pennsylvania-based horseman Roger Hammer is heading to the Hambletonian with Vivid Photo and the son of SJ's Photo captured a division of the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund at Rosecroft Friday night in 1:56.2.



Vivid Photo was three lengths in front of runner-up Yankee Slugfest under the wire as he won for the seventh time this year. Hammer shares ownership with Todd Schadel. Hammer has been pointing Vivid Photo to a Hambletonian start at the Meadowlands.



The second division went to SJ's Cebulla in 1:57.3 for trainer-driver David Wade. It was the first win of the year for the Sweet And Sassy Stable-owned colt.



The $41,726 Maryland Sire Stakes final for freshman fillies went to Taylors Lady and driver Donnie Long in a career-best 1:57.2. The daughter of Masterman is owned by Dennis Walls and trainer Jeff Clark.
