Walter Bodie, who owned the stakes winners Walter B Good and Lady Seahawk, died Wednesday morning at his home in New York after a long illness. He was 75.

Bodie's horses were trained by Skip Lewis for more than 30 years. "He followed his horses very closes and he wanted so badly to have that big winner," said Lewis of Bodie, who he called a friend as well as a client.
