Whiskey Pete beats Foiled Again at Chester

Whiskey Pete rallied from off the pace to overtake Foiled Again and win a $70,000 Open Pace on Sunday at Harrah's Chester.
Foiled Again started from post three but Drop Red had the quickest foot and broke the beam at the first quarter in :27.1. But then Yannick Gingras shot Foiled Again to the front and they passed the half in :55.2 and the three quarters in 1:23.1. Brian Sears put Whiskey Pete in contention and then in the homestretch they edged to the front, winning by three quarters of a length in 1:50.1 with a :26.4 final panel.
