Windsong Leo scores again at Meadows

Windsong Leo continued his domination of The Meadows elite pacers with a front-end victory — his second in a row and 12th this year — in Friday's $18,000 Open Handicap Pace.
Windsong Leo sprang to the lead from post 6 for Dave Palone. Despite a demanding 26.3 opening quarter, the 7-year-old Jereme's Jet-Windsong Goldie gelding had little trouble scoring in 1:50.1, 1-1/2 lengths ahead of than Bettor Than Spring. K Ryan Bluechiip completed the ticket.
Ron Burke train's Windsong Leo, who triumphed for the 32nd time over the past two seasons and lifted his career bankroll to $549,860, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Phillip Collura.
