Wolfdancer Mindale, driven by Mike Saftic, caught pacesetting Arts Chip (Mark Evers) in the final strides to win the $100,000 North America Cup consolation in 1:51.2 at Woodbine.



Wolfdancer Mindale, a son of Western Hanover, won for the sixth time in seven starts this year.



In the $50,000 Elegantimage Stakes consolation for 3-year-old filly trotters, 22-1 EZ Past closed late to win in 1:56.2. EZ Past held off another longshot, Up Front Kay (Mike Allen) to win her first of the year. Charming To A Tee was third for Trevor Ritchie.
