Worldly Beauty retired

Two-time divisional champion Worldly Beauty has been retired from racing after winning 21 of 45 career starts and $1.9 million. Now five, she made nine starts in 2004, with three second-place finishes.



Voted the 2001 Two-Year-Old Filly Pacer of the Year and the 2002 Three-Year-Old Filly Pacer of the Year, Worldly Beauty's last victory came on June 20, 2003, when she won the $200,000 Lady Liberty at the Meadowlands in a career-best 1:49.3. Her last outing came on March 26 when she finished sixth in the Overbid final.



Worldly Beauty is now reportedly scheduled to be bred to Western Ideal. She is owned by Craig Lipka's Hill View Enterprises and Mike Gulotta, James Hess, John Jarka and Otis Ray's MJG Racing Stables. She was trained by Pat Lachance and driven by Luc Ouellette.
