Yonkers Raceway shall continue a six-program-per-week live harness schedule through March, it was announced Monday by general manager Bob Galterio. Live racing is offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with first post at 7:40 p.m.

Tuesday matinees (1 p.m.) remain in effect through March 13. Beginning March 20, Tuesdays revert to a night entity, joining the remainder of the race week at 7:40 p.m.

\"Our increased purse structure has made Yonkers Raceway a very desirable destination, and we are happy to keep the six program-per-week schedule in effect,\" Galterio said. \"As always, we shall monitor the entry box and adjust the schedule accordingly.\"

Yonkers\' 2007 stakes season kicks into high gear in March, with the Petticoat and Sagamore Hill Racing Series as well as the opening round of the rich George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series.

The Levy begins Saturday, March 31, and horsemen are advised that nominations for this Free For All event close Thursday, March 1. Please contact the race office or visit www.yonkersraceway.com and go to the racing icon for more information. (Yonkers)
