Woodbine cancels Monday due to track

Woodbine Racetrack has been forced to cancel its Monday night program due to unsafe track conditions. Warm temperatures and rain throughout the day took its toll on the oval. Despite the best efforts of Woodbine's track crew, the surface contained several soft spots which were deemed unsafe for the horses and drivers. Racing is scheduled to resume this Thursday night with a 7:10 p.m. first post.
