Although there was no show wagering on the George Morton Levy Memorial or Blue Chip Matchmaker finals, the strong Saturday night card at Yonkers Raceway propelled the track to a million-dollar handle. Handle for the 12-race Yonkers card hit $1,066,944.   Meanwhile, Woodbine handled $1,413,961 for 11 races and Balmoral Park generated a $914,175 handle from 12 races.
