Farrier Aron Rosenthal dies

Aron M. Rosenthal, a farrier at Monticello Raceway since the track opened in the late 1950s, died Dec. 24 at his home. He was 90.   Rosenthal was a native of Monticello and planned to be a veterinarian, but was called to serve in World War II.
