Michigan Hall of Famer Bob Huff dies

Robert W. “Bob” Huff, 90, a member of the Michigan Harness Racing Hall of Fame, longtime operator of Shiawasee Farm and the breeder of the 1981 Hambletonian winner, Shiaway St Pat, died on Wednesday evening at Avalon Hospice in Flint, Mich. Waxman reaches settlement with ORC

WEG asks for Guaranteed Starter Bonus program

Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) has asked the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) permission to implement a Guaranteed Starter Bonus program as a pilot project at the 2011 Woodbine winter/spring meet.
