Five O’Clock Cindy, the dam of two-time Pacer of the Year Jenna’s Beach Boy, died Feb. 25 at Peninsula Farm in Kentucky at the age of 23.   A daughter of Cam Fella and the Windshield Wiper mare Eyewash, Five O’Clock Cindy was bred by JEF’s Standardbred Country Club and raced for Rose Guida’s Wilshire Racing Stable. Windsor paddock judge Lew Clark dies

Windsor Raceway paddock judge Lew Clark, who also had a successful career training horses and served as an Ontario Harness Horse Association director, died Tuesday, March 16. He was 66.   Mr. Clark was a leading trainer at Windsor Raceway and Hazel Park in the 1970s and ‘80s, winning dash titles at both racetracks. He retired from training in 1998. Indiana third in gaming revenue in 2009

The Associated Press (AP) has reported that Indiana has climbed to third in the nation in terms of adjusted gross revenues from commercial gaming. Nevada and New Jersey are first and second.   The AP report said Nevada held the top spot in 2009 with $9.76 billion and New Jersey was second at $3.9 billion.
