Longtime Standardbred owner Harry Locke, 89, passed away peacefully on July 4 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in Oshawa, Ont. Mr. Locke owned such notables as Deal Direct, Jet Pace and Northwest. On Monday night, John "Duke" Sugg, well known in the Ohio harness racing community, was injured in an accident while driving in a race at the Tiffin, Ohio, fair.   Sugg, 48, was life-flighted to Toledo Hospital.
