Spirit Of A Shark, a 3-year-old colt by Cam's Card Shark, won the first of two divisions of a New Jersey Sire Stakes at the Meadowlands Saturday night. This colt paced in 1:49.4. Spirit Of A Shark won by open lengths for driver George Brennan and trainer Mark Kesmodel. It was his first victory in six starts this season. He had finished third in the Berry's Creek final.
