12 riding horses die in barn fire at Sahbra

A barn fire early Saturday morning at Sahbra Farms in northeastern Ohio killed 12 riding horses. The farm is also used as a training center for harness racing but no Standardbreds were in the barn that burned after a blaze reportedly started by extension cords.   Sahbra Farms was built by the late Marvin Gross and has operated both as a private and public training center.
