Richard A. Watts, of Delray Beach, Fla., died March 16 at Bethesda East Heart Hospital. He was 83. Mr. Watts was born June 29, 1930, in Providence, Rhode Island. Beginning April 3, Woodbine will now offer a Thursday evening card, in addition to its current schedule of Monday, Friday and Saturday night racing, for the remainder of the Spring meet, which concludes Monday, May 19.
